Manage User Access
From the Manage User Access page, you can manage access accounts for existing accounts. Note: This functionality is available to users with the proper authority only.
The Manage Accounts form displays a summary of users with existing accounts for a particular USDOT number, and who are not pending approval for additional access rights. From this page, you can:
• | View user contact information |
• | Disable or enable user accounts |
To manage user access
1. | Select the user from the Users for USDOT Number table. This table contains a list of users with access to the current USDOT number. |
2. | Add appropriate user roles by selecting the role from the Available Roles list and click Request Role. -OR- |
Remove inappropriate user roles by selecting the role from the Current Roles list and click Remove Role.
3. | Add any relevant comments in the Comment box. This comment will be emailed to the user with their notice of account changes. Note: All accounts where roles have been removed MUST have an explanation in the comment section. |
4. | Click Remove Access to disable the user's account. -OR- |
Click Update Profile to update the user's account. -OR-
Click Cancel to clear any roles or comment changes that have been made prior to updating an account.
