Account Validation Survey

From the Account Validation Survey page, you can review and validate user's profiles to determine whether any changes are needed.

Once the account validation survey period is initiated by the Chief Accounts Officer (CAO), an “Account Validation Survey” portlet will appear on each OC’s home page. (The CAO can also notify OCs via email that the account validation survey period has started.) OCs will then review users’ profiles to determine whether any changes are needed and, as appropriate, will validate the accounts. Reminder notifications will be sent to OCs with outstanding account validations. Any account that is not validated by the end of the stated period will be disabled, and the user will be denied access to the FMCSA Portal. Users whose accounts are disabled must contact their OCs to reinstate access to the Portal.

To validate user's profile

1.Click Magnifying Glass next to the view the user's profile.
2.View any necessary comments in the Comments History box.
3.Click Add Role to add the selected roles to the Requested Roles box -OR-

   click Remove Role to remove the selected roles to the Requested Roles box.

4.Enter the text of your message into the Enter Message Text box.
5.Click Save Message -OR-

   Click Cancel to cancel your changes.

6.Add any necessary comments in the Comments box.
7.Click Disable User to disable the user's account -OR-

   click Update Profile to update the user's profile -OR-

   click Cancel to cancel your changes.
