From the Search Warning Letters, you can search for warning letters, download a list of warning letters, and print a list of warning letters.

To Search for Warning Letters

1.Enter a Warning Letter Date From or click to select a date from the calendar. A To date will automatically be entered; however, you may enter a new To date or click to select a date from the calendar. Note: The To date can be no more than 45 days from the From date. You may also enter any combination of the following:
•Enter a USDOT #
•Enter a Company Name
•Select one of the following Warning Letter Statuses:
oMailed
oReturned (to FMCSA)
oUndelivered (undeliverable address)
•Select to search by BASICs Above Alert
•Select a Country
•Select a State/Province. Note you must select a Country before you may select a State/Province.
•Select a County. Note you must select a Country and State/Province before you may select a County.
•Enter a Postal Code.  Note you must select a Country, State/Province, and County before you may enter a Postal Code.
2.Click Search. Your results display -OR-

    Click Clear to remove any entered search criteria and results.

To download a list of warning letters

1.Enter a Warning Letter Date From or click to select a date from the calendar. A To date will automatically be entered; however, you may enter a new To date or click to select a date from the calendar. Note: The To date can be no more than 45 days from the From date. You may also enter any combination of the following:
•Enter a USDOT #
•Enter a Company Name
•Select one of the following Warning Letter Statuses:
oMailed
oReturned (to FMCSA)
oUndelivered (undeliverable address)
•Select to search by BASICs Above Alert
•Select a Country
•Select a State/Province. Note you must select a Country before you may select a State/Province.
•Select a County. Note you must select a Country and State/Province before you may select a County.
•Enter a Postal Code.  Note you must select a Country, State/Province, and County before you may enter a Postal Code.
2.Click Search. Your results display.
3.Click Download List.

To print a list of warning letters.

1.Enter a Warning Letter Date From or click to select a date from the calendar. A To date will automatically be entered; however, you may enter a new To date or click to select a date from the calendar. Note: The To date can be no more than 45 days from the From date. You may also enter any combination of the following:
•Enter a USDOT #
•Enter a Company Name
•Select one of the following Warning Letter Statuses:
oMailed
oReturned (to FMCSA)
oUndelivered (undeliverable address)
•Select to search by BASICs Above Alert
•Select a Country
•Select a State/Province. Note you must select a Country before you may select a State/Province.
•Select a County. Note you must select a Country and State/Province before you may select a County.

2.Click Search. Your results display.
3.Click Print List.

•Enter a Postal Code.  Note you must select a Country, State/Province, and County before you may enter a Postal Code.
4.Click Search. Your results display.
5.In the results grid, click the column heading ( title) to sort the data results. Note: Clicking once will sort the data in ascending order, clicking a second time will sort the data in descending order. You may sort by:
•USDOT #
•Company Legal Name
•Warning Letter Date
•Warning Letter Status
•Warning Letter BASICs above Alert
•Current BASICs above Alert
•Physical Address Street
•Physical Address City
•Physical Address County
•Physical Address State
•Physical Address Country
•Physical Address Colonia (Mexican Carriers only)
